It's time to turn promises into progress.
#MarchForward with IWD@Work
Thirty years ago, the world committed to a bold vision for gender equality, the United Nations' Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. Since then, we’ve seen women break barriers, reshape policies, and ignite global movements. Yet, despite these strides, the promises made remain largely unfulfilled for millions of women worldwide. We are simply not where we should be.
Engage your workplace, showcase your organisation's commitment to equality and celebrate current and next generation leaders throughout International Women’s Month 2025 to commemorate Beijing+30 and #MarchForward for a gender equal future.

IWD@Work in Action
KPMG Case Study
KPMG Australia, IWD@Work Sponsor and an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, partners with UN Women Australia to celebrate International Women's Day annually.
In 2023, leveraging IWD@Work, KPMG hosted IWD Watch Parties in each office, coordinated by Team Champions. Leaders shared insights on KPMG's diversity program and investment in female talent and leadership. UN Women Australia's IWD keynote speakers were streamed into the Watch Parties, broadening the impact.
KPMG employees generously donated to UN Women programs, with the Australian member firm matching funds through its giving program.
The result: 2,100 staff members actively participated in the Watch Parties, a significant increase from 600 in 2022, making it the highest-attended post-COVID staff event.
QIC Case Study
QIC celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting multiple internal watch parties across its offices, enabling employees to live-stream UN Women Australia’s IWD speakers. This initiative fostered a shared experience and allowed staff to come together, reflect on gender equality, and learn from impactful voices.
QIC employees in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, New York, and London joined these gatherings to deepen their understanding of QIC’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy and initiatives. Attendees heard directly from company leaders and engaged with exclusive IWD@Work content, reinforcing QIC’s commitment to advancing gender equality and empowering women both within the organisation and beyond.
