KPMG Case Study
An Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, KPMG Australia annually celebrates International Women's Day (IWD).
For International Women's Day 2024, KPMG partnered with UN Women Australia to amplify its impact. Together, we hosted an IWD@Work briefing with Achievers, guiding companies on using IWD to spotlight D&I initiatives, engage teams, and tips to fundraise for UN Women Australia. KPMG extended this impact by attending UN Women Australia’s IWD events nationwide, hosting virtual watch parties and internal panels to highlight and reinforce their commitment to equity and inclusion.
Leaders shared insights on KPMG's diversity program and investment in female talent and leadership. UN Women Australia's IWD keynote speakers were streamed into the watch parties, broadening the impact.
KPMG employees generously donated to UN Women programs, with KPMG matching funds through its giving program.
The result: In 2023, 2,100 staff members actively participated in the Watch Parties, a significant increase from 600 in 2022, making it the highest attended post-COVID staff event.
